Vice President Huang Wenyong Led a Delegation to Visit Institutes of Higher Education in Germany
Vice President Huang Wenyong led a delegation to visit BSK International and Technische Hochschule Deggendorf in Germany for exchanges of views on students’ programs, teachers’ training and joint-construction of disciplines and majors. The visit was accompanied by Wu Bing – Director of the Human Resources Office, Huang Rui – Dean of the School of Material Science and Engineering, and Huang Peizhen – Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.
In BSK International Headquarters in Berlin, the delegation was warmly received by Mr.Kai-Arne Fiedler and Mr.Willi Bredow.Vice President Huang briefly introduced HSNU, and expressed hope of further cooperation with BSK through “Engineers Trained in Germany” and teachers’ training programs to implement HSNU’s going global strategy. In addition, Vice President Huang promoted HSNU’s overseas talents recruitment policy, hoping to attract more high-level professionals to optimize the University’s ranks of teachers.
In Technische Hochschule Deggendorf, the delegation held an amicable talk with Dr.Alice von Landau. They were deeply impressed by the “two-unit education system” mentioned by Dr. XXX in the brief introduction of Technische Hochschule Deggendorf. Both parties had in-depth discussions on issues related to students’exchange programs, mutual academic visits among teachers, and bilateral scientific and academic cooperation on disciplines and specialties. The discussion was successful as both sides had reached common ground. After the meeting, the delegation toured the campus accompanied by Dr. Dr.Alice von Landau.
During the brief stay in Germany, the delegation also paid a visit to Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
