Delegation of Swinburne University of Technology Visits SDU

Recently, the delegation led by Vice President Alan Lau of Swinburne University of Technology from Australia visited SDU for cooperation in machinery engineering and industry 4.0. Liu Jianya, Vice President of SDU,met with the delegation.
During the meeting,Liu expressed his expectation for further communication between scholars from both sides to deepen cooperation in engineering building on their current achievements.
The delegation also met with representatives from the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Control Science and Engineering. During the meeting, Lau introduced theSwinburne University of Technology and its existing research on industry 4.0 and relevant areas, stating that the Swinburne University of Technology had formed a unique scientific research ecosystem led by five research institutes working on data science, health innovation, smart city, social innovation, and future manufacturing. Scholars from both parties talked over the cooperation of driverless car, 3D printing, advanced materials, aerospace materials,etc.
The delegation visited the Engineering Training Center at SDU and shared opinions on programs such as short-term academic students exchange and overseas study of researchers.
