The controversial topic concerning the development of cutting edge technology never fails to attract public attention. Today, there has been a heated debate on whether new technological development benefits humans. I tend to be an advocate regarding this issue.
It is reasonable for me to agree with the view of point, because new technological progress, such as a new transportation way that includes subways, airplanes, and trains, will instead of old lifestyles to convenient for our lives. Also, it will save plenty of time on long-distance tours. For instance, this can be supported by a recent survey by Cambridge University that 69 percent of people believe that subways are an effective way to reduce traffic jams when they want to come back early. As a result, technological development helps people shift their lifestyles to be simple.
Moreover, it is commonly believed that high technology provides an idea where people can do not go out when a few disasters happened. Admittedly, it is manifest that when this year the COVID-19 has outbroken, a large number of shoppers can sell their products on the Internet. For example, according to recent research by Oxford University that 79 percent of people believe that the Internet makes them work and study online during the COVID-19 pandemic for controlling the source of infection; therefore, the progress of cutting edge technology reduces possible that disasters happened.
In conclusion, the advantage of new technology far exceeds its shortcomings. Not only could it save a large amount of money and time to convenient our lives, but also it can save lives in moments of crisis.
