Delegation from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies Visited

On September 13th, Fei Pon, Professor of Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, visited HSNU, with the company of Mr. Wu Wei, General Manager of Smart Education Group. Chen Shusi, President of HSNU, met with the guests.
President Chen extended his warmest welcome to the delegation and expressed the hope that through bilateral cooperation between the two universities – which was made possible by Prof. Pon – more high-level talents could be introduced to HSNU to optimize its faculty structure and boost the process of applying for the rights of conferring mater degrees.
Both sides talked over matters relating to teachers training, talents introduction as well as overseas internship and employment for majors of culinary arts, etc.. Officials from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management attended the meeting.
During the visit, Prof. Pon held talks with Japanese teachers from the School of Foreign Languages, and shared with them his experience in teaching Japanese and conducting research. He also gave a lecture on learning Japanese to Japanese majors. The witted remarks and vivid elaboration won him applaud from the audience. After that, the delegation visited Chi-Chan Chen Calligraphy Hall and Chen Fuli Photography Hall, and the Cuisine Lab, highly affirming the professional skills displayed by both teachers and students.
