Imitation to Arab Andalusian Poetry

[ Home ]

That night, I wiggled my waist
but I did not expect to see you

You noticed me at your first glance
among all the dancing girls
and their golden pendants
as I immediately noticed you

You delivered to me a whisper
made of emerald and passion
when I prudently moved near you
releasing my scent of affection

I heard you telling me about the stars
and all Allah’s wonder,
I told you that the greatest wonder that Allah
has ever given me is you

I will always remember the richness
you gave me that night
even though you sucked out of my essence
and forgot me
